Bones of the Lower Arm, Wrist and Hand

Do Now:
1. The _________ of the humerus articulates with the _______ of the scapula.
2. The ulna is received by the ________ of the humerus when the arm is bent and the _________ when the arm is straight.
3. The three parts of the sternum from superior to inferior are ____________, __________, and __________
4. The radius rotates around the __________ of the humerus and the ulna rotates around the _________ of the humerus.

Today in class we discussed
Structures and functions of the Radius: head, radial tuberosity, and styloid process
Structures and functions of the Ulna: trochlear notch, coronoid process, olecranon process, styoid process
Structures and functions of the Wrist and Hand: Carpals, Metacarpals, Phalanges
