Issues in Cell Biology - Cancer

DO Now:
List two events in each of the six stages of the cell cycle

Today in class we:
- Heard presentation on cancer
- Watched segments of Cancer Warrior video
- Played cancer review game

Homework:
1. Chapter 3 Review due
2. Come with 6 questions on the topic you taught (2-easy, 2-medium, 2- challenging)
NOTE: Questions should be in simple not complex form, no multiple choice or fill in the blank style questions.

Draw a cell from memory, include all organelles, label, and list the structure and function of each

Today in class we:
Discussed the cell nucleus: nuclear envelope, chromosomes, nucleolus
Discussed cytoplasm: microfilaments, actin, microtubules, tubulin, centrosomes, centrioles, cilia, flagella

Took quiz on cell membrane, and organelles and structures of the cell
